Our Story
In the summer of 2012, two visionaries, Mike Lemieux and Jose Dalmau, set out on a journey to cultivate not just exceptional watermelons, but also a thriving business. From the fertile grounds of their dreams and determination, Fresh Pro Inc. was born.
Over the next few years, the company rapidly expanded across nine states, harnessing the benefits of diverse climates and soil types to optimize watermelon production. Recognizing the agricultural potential of Mexico’s rich lands and year-round climate, they extended their operations south of the border, solidifying their position as a key player in the industry fifty-two weeks a year.
Today, Fresh Pro Inc. stands as one of the largest watermelon shippers in the country, proudly serving some of the most recognizable names in the business. Through strong partnerships and an unwavering commitment to reliability, the company has built a reputation for delivering top-quality, fresh watermelons.
